There's nothing to switch on for past orders. If you've had eligible paid orders in the last 30 days, popups start showing as soon as the embed is on and your campaign is published, even on Free. If you haven't, EncorePop stays quiet until you do.

After you install EncorePop, it automatically shows recent-purchase popups from eligible paid Shopify orders in the last 30 days — including orders from before you installed — so you're not starting from an empty feed. It's included on the Free plan. There's no setting to turn on.
The fine print, in plain words:
- Only real, paid orders. Refunded, cancelled, and test orders are left out.
- 30-day window. An order can show for up to 30 days after it was paid, then it drops out.
- Anonymous. Orders from before you installed never show customer names or other identity details. New orders are anonymous by default too.
- Honest roundups. The 24-hour count uses the original paid times and stays hidden below 3.
- Quiet when there's nothing to show. No eligible orders means no popup. No sample activity.
- One requirement. The EncorePop theme app embed has to be on.

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan needs no credit card. Starter and Growth are purchased through Shopify, and you can upgrade from inside the app.
Will popups show on day one?
If your store had eligible paid orders in the last 30 days, yes, on every plan including Free. They show once the theme app embed is on and your campaign is published. There's no extra setting for past orders. If not, the popup stays quiet until your next eligible paid order.
What customer details are shown?
None that identify the buyer. Messages are anonymous by default. Surname, street address, email, phone number, and exact location are never shown. Orders from before you installed always stay anonymous.
Which orders count?
Paid Shopify orders. Refunded, cancelled, and test orders are excluded. Each order can show for up to 30 days after it was paid. More on how recent-sales popups work
What if my store has no recent orders?
Nothing shows. EncorePop doesn't invent orders or show sample activity on a live store. It's built for stores that already make sales.
Will it work with my theme?
EncorePop runs as a Shopify theme app embed, which you switch on in the theme editor. Shopify supports app embeds in both Online Store 2.0 and older "vintage" themes. No code edits needed. Popups don't appear on Shopify's checkout pages.
What happens when I hit my visitor limit?
New popups stop for the rest of that monthly period. Upgrade any time, or wait for the next period.
How do I cancel?
Turn off the theme app embed to stop display, or uninstall the app. Paid plans are billed and cancelled through Shopify.
