What a recent sales popup does
A recent sales popup is a small notification in a corner of your store that shows what someone recently bought. Shoppers can see that other people buy from you, without you having to say so yourself. EncorePop builds it from your latest eligible paid order, links it to the product, and keeps the buyer anonymous.

Questions before you install
Does EncorePop ever show fake orders?
No. Every popup comes from an eligible paid Shopify order. Refunds, cancellations and test orders are left out. If nothing is eligible, the popup stays quiet.
Will it show anything on day one?
Yes, if you've had an eligible paid order in the last 30 days, even before you installed. It shows your newest one. EncorePop won't invent activity for a store with no recent sales.
Does it cycle through lots of past orders?
No. The recent purchase popup always shows your single latest eligible sale. On paid plans, the 24-hour roundup shows the total count for the last 24 hours.
What do you store about my customers?
We never store their email addresses. We keep hashed order and customer IDs and the product. We keep first name and city only if you turn them on. Each record is deleted 30 days after the order was paid.
Will it increase my sales?
We don't promise a number. It lets shoppers see that real people buy from you. Try it for a few weeks and compare in Shopify analytics.
What happens at my visitor limit?
Popups pause for the rest of the month. We never upgrade you automatically.
Do I need to edit code?
